Does anyone have a cerclage?

Hi

I'm wondering how having a cerclage has affected your pg. I'm newly pg and will have to have one this time due to cervical surgery that removed 75% of my cervix. What was it like having it put in/taken out? Did you go into labor right away? Did you have to alter your "normal" activities because of it? Be on bed rest, light duty, anything like that? Thanks for any info you may have to share
