i went and checked out that northern essence website and i want EVERYTHING on there!!! her stuff is so cheap too!! im excited! im going to switch out all the girls and dh and my soaps/lotions to her stuff...im sure i'll be able to find $40 worth of products to get free shipping LOL!!

Yeah, I went back to look for the diaper hunt icon and saw she had free shipping on orderd over 40 bucks so I ordered some more LOL (after ordering 60 worth of stuff in the co op)

For natural shampoo you can use baking soda and apple cider vinegar. I just switched and love the results. I never really understood why 'poo was so important, anyway. Google no poo! There were also some threads about it on the Pin recently. I don't post there but I do lurk there lol.

Its scary what you find in commercial b & b. I stick to the basics, gentle natural cleanser and "butter" for a moisurizer. Finding a natural lotion will be tough - the nature of it requires a preservative and they are all nasty chemicals even if they are "paraben-free" IMO.

My mistake... I think I used the term lotion but what I ment was moisturizer. I love butters too.

i'm pretty set on soaps, etc. but does anyone have a good rec for a facial moisturizer? i've been using some burts bees and while i like it - it's kinda heavy....

For facial cleansers, moisturizers and makeup, I use Nicole Miller. She actually teamed up with Melaleuca so all of the skincare line meets Melaleuca's natural and safe standards.
