sounds just like my church our mothers lounge has only 2 chairs for all the nursing mommas!

Oh, heavens no. I would smack him, seriously. My DH is totally not like that. He's not jealous or overprotective or irrational.
But if he tried to tell me what to do with my body, he would get a swift, hard kick.

I don't usually use a blanket to cover, though i do occasionally. but i am discreet. I don't show any boob. only because i am not comfortable exposing myself, nothing to do with the baby nursing.

Never have, never will. Even with DD being 2.5 years old, we don't cover up if we NIP. NIP doesn't happened nearly as much as it used to, but it actually is easier to NIP then it was when she was little because she uses her nursing manners. Even DH couldn't tell we were NIP, it just looked like we were cuddling. Her head is plenty big enough to cover anything you might see.

I never have and never will! My child needs to see me while they eat.

Re: NIP: To cover or not to cover...that is the poll question

With DS1 I did at first, then would use nursing shirts which I don't know if that counts or not as comvering up. With DS2, I don't cover. It's just easier not to cover and I don't feel uncomfortable about it, so I don't. Now, I do try to be subtle and I don't believe you can see anything because his head is in the way. I'll also sometimes have dh position himself to cover me when I'm latching.

I think I covered up the first few times with DD then not at all, but that was for me not other people. I was sitting in the bank feeding DS the other day cause it was sooo cold out and this lady walked up to talk to him, she had no idea he was eating

If I'm around our pastor which we are often, I cover up out of respect for him and his wife. So I think it all depends where I'm at and who I'm around.
that was my situation with gage.. older he got though the more i tried to cover the more he thought it was this AWESOME game he thinks his sister invented just for him cause she's the best big sister in the world.. PEEK A BOO.. lol.. so it became more of a hassle/scene to cover while NIP..
