is this rash cream safe for cloth

My dd has a bad rash and it started to go away and come back last night a friend of mine gave me a recipe for a rash cream she said is wonderful and help with in a few hours That i would share the recipe and see if any knows if it would be safe to use on FB and or prefolds or should i just put a liner i dont want to have to buy disposables

here it is she said:
This is the best cure for diaper rash: Aquaphor moisturizer mixed with 3 ounces of Malox. You melt down the Aquaphor either in the microwave or a double boiler. When it is a liquid, add the Malox and pour into a hand cream jar. Shake it for at least ten minuets. As it cools it will get a more solid then you can use it with every changing of baby. The Aquaphor hand cream acts as a moisturizer and the Malox cuts down on the acid
thanks for any help

I'd use a liner. Aquaphor has the potential to cause buildup.

Definately use a liner. I contacted FB about what could be used with there dipes and they said only cornstarch powder. Doesnt cut it for rashes.

Anyway, just put a liner in there and you should be fine. Hope the rash clears up!
