Should I call the MW?
I'm 25 weeks, and I've noticed a decrease in my babies movements; well, at least today. I can usually get him to move with either laying on my back or doing a gentle jiggle of my belly, but it's not really working today. And usually he's VERY active when I'm laying DS down for bed. It's just weird for me because he's been so active for so long! I know he's still alive because I can feel him occassionally, but I've heard to call if there is a decrease. How much of a decrease before I panic? I've known a few people just recently who've lost they're babies between like 20-22 weeks, and maybe that's why I'm freaking out so much, but it's just scary, ya know? Any advice or reassurance would be great.
What do you think the MW would do anyway? An ultrasound?

Re: Should I call the MW?
drink something like OJ or eat a granola bar or something with some good sugar, then lay on left side and do kick counts. Usually they get really active after a snack. HTH Good Luck

Re: Should I call the MW?
Didn't have OJ or any kind of appropriate snack foods....I had a bit of applesauce and now my heartburn is out of control. Now I'm munching on a piece of bread. Babies still super mellow. Got a tiny kick really low, but that's it.
I talked to DH a few hours ago and had mentioned the baby wasn't moving that much. He told me to call and schedule an appt. I think he's a little nervous too with how many unsuccessful pregnancies we've seen. He's usually telling me I'm paranoid. So looks like I'll call my MW in the morning and see what she wants to do. Does anyone have any ideas on what she would do to reassure me?

if you get 5 movements in an hour, your probably ok. If it would ease your worries I would go ahead and call.

Re: Should I call the MW?
How are things today, mama? Somedays these babes also have mellow days. My babe is usually crazy active but every now and then babe will have a day of just mostly chilling out in there. My other 2 were the same in the womb. If I get too worried, I have a snack of either an orange or some grapes and relax (as much as I can w/a very active 4.5 YO and 2.5YO around, lol) and make notice of movements.
