Re: hylands teething tablets ???

I've bought both the Humphrey's and Hyland's tablets. I prefer the Hyland's. The Humphrey's does require you to dissolve them in water and then dip and dab in baby's mouth. Hyland's is much easier (no water necessary) and, in my experience, I think they work better too. Just my

THe Hyland's usually works for us, here, too. I don't worry about the BellaDonna in it because it is literally a microscopic amount. Like most meds... they can all be harmful if not taken in the correct amount.

Yes I would rather give Noah the Hylands rather then Motrin or Ty.
Just my opinion! I think if it was a health risk it would not be sold at walmart!
just my opinion!

I'm so glad to hear good reviews! I bought some of this but haven't used it yet because Hannah is still not teething. I do know that belladonna is used in many homeopathic medicines though, in small doses.

I don't use it because of the belladonna that is in it. It hasn't been "tested or proven safe for children."

Normally I love homeopathic cures and medicines, but I just choose not to use this one.

No bashing or anything! After doing my research, I made a decision to NOT use it. But I know a lot of mamas do!!

That what homeopaths are... very diluted quantities of natural plants and stuff that are poisonous. They work by making your body kick up it's own defense system. Check out this site that explains it a little better: http://www.abchomeopathy.com/homeopathy.htm

They actually make a product called Calms Forte 4 Kids for kids who are resless/sleepless/stressted, etc. Hylands has tons of products for everyone from birth-adulthood. You should check out their website.

THey contain Chamomile & minute amounts of Belladonna. Any remedy, homepathic or pharmaceutical, can be harmful if taken to excess. Personally, I feel much safer giving my child something natural & virtually harmless as opposed to pumping him full of artificial chemicals. I have used Calm's Forte for my ASD kids, but use different methods now.
