Re: Pics of your hs area or areas~

Here are some pics of our homeschooling area... I homeschool an 11th, 8th, 3rd, and Pre K plus have a baby. So we have it set up for a range of kiddos. The pack n play is used for short periods of time when I have to doing instruction. The little chair is for my 4 1/2 yr old to look at books. The burned up map is for the highschoolers history. They don't all fit around that table either so we also use the kitchen table. It is also our "play" room with the train (car) table, game closet, basket of toys etc....so when a kid isn't schooling they can still play in the same room...minus the noise LOL.

Re: Pics of your hs area or areas~

While it's nowhere near set up (and I wouldn't dream of taking pictures right now due to my roommate who decided to take the room over), we bought this house specifically with HSing in mind. We have an activity room that is the width of our house that is going to be our HSing room. I have a wet bar back there so that if we're painting or anything, the kids can wash their hands in that sink and not have to worry about messing up any of our good sinks. It's a great room and I can't wait for 1) roommate to get out (Oct 1st, YAY!!!), and 2) for DS to be old enough for us to actually use it. lol

Oh yes, the desk is just for "book work" and responsibility of keeping there area's clean as they may someday work in an office and such. We also have a nice back porch that on nice days we sit out back and read or under the tree we have a fake camp area. we made a fort out there last year when we did our magic treehouse lessons.

Re: Pics of your hs area or areas~

No pics, but Race has all his books on his computer (that doesn't work) desk, lol. He usually either brings in what he needs to the coffee table, or I go in there (I keep a folding chair behind his door). All the keys, Zane's stuff, catalogs, etc are on the two shelves of the entertainment center. It looked awful!!! until I bought some magazine holders and a set of cheap book ends. Now it's all nice and neat. I'm not sure what we'll do once Zane needs charts and stuff. Right now whatever Zane needs is in his room. He reallllllly needs a new globe. We also really need another bookcase, but I have NO idea where we'd put it.

Love all the pics!!
