Would you cut her hair? (pic)

Ok, DD has a rat tail, LOL. Her hair is growing out all funny and it hangs in the back in a little curl. Everyone keeps telling me to cut it because she won't let you put it up, but I'm afraid her hair will grow out funny if I do.
She already has shaggy hair (which I think is cute), but I find myself having to tell people I'm letting her hair GROW.

So would you cut your kids hair?

When dd was little her hair started to look a little funny in the back (up to that point we had only trimmed her bangs a couple of times). I finally got it trimmed professionally, and it looked SO MUCH BETTER. You don't have to cut a lot to get it evened up. My dd has really long hair now, and if we hadn't gotten the back trimmed it would not have looked as good.

I'd say go ahead and cut it a little. It'll keep growing and will long again in no time, but cutting it will help make it more even.

My daughter has the same hair (just shorter~and she doesn't let me put it up either) and no, I wouldn't cut it.

I have already cut the part of Margo's hair that started to look like a mullet at 5 months. I want the sides and front to catch up with the back, so it can all grow long. I would say trim your daughter's hair in the back and then let it all grow out long together

Thanks for the comments ladies! I will think this through. I don't know if she'd do well in a salon, haha.
Oh and ignore the diaper she has on. I know it didn't fit well, but I got those for free and I wanted to see what they looked like on.

I wouldn't cut it. It will even it's self out. If I had a girl I would just let her hair growand grow! My son his almost a year and still hasn't even had a trim. I just can't bring myself to cut his hair yet.

I would just do a trim in the back and bangs if she has them, or you want them. My daughter had a mullet LOL so we had to cut it to straighten things out.
