Pancakes?

You just reminded me that we're out of syrup. My son loves them.... begs for them.... You'd think they were the best thing in the world. When I make them I double or triple the recipie and then freeze them (with a layer of wax paper between them)-- makes it a lot easier.

i make a HUGE batch once a month and then freeze them in little packages of 6, enough for me and the kids. i put them in the toaster to cook em and they are as good as fresh

Alton Brown from Food Network has the best pancake recipe in the world. I wasn't really a pancake person until my husband started making these (he's the pancake guru in our house) and they're just yummy. Especially with blueberries or chocolate chips added...

We've got some pancake loving girls here. We had to have my in-laws mail us some syrup shortly after we moved here because they didn't have it here. We just found some last month in a small American store we happened upon. So anyway, my mil sent us a giant size bottle of syrup from BJ's and we're almost out and it's only been 3 months!!

I just made whole wheat blueberry pancakes for DD for dinner last night and she DEVOURED them! She ate 2 huge pancakes!!! AND she wanted more! I cut her off though and froze the rest for easy breakfasts.
