Solids
My baby girl is 6 months old now. do I need to start her on solids? We have tried a few little bites of cereal & baby food since last month but she did not really care for it. she was breastfed until 5 months. Has been bottle fed for about a month now. she seems to do fine with just formula but I am wondering what other mothers are doing?
Thank you

Re: Solids
You don't HAVE to start on solids. Sounds like your baby isn't ready yet.
My first wasn't really interested in solids until he could eat table foods- about 11 months. This time I was going to wait, but he was trying to grab food off our plates at 4 months... so we started rice cereal, and he ate every drop, and is a little piglet everytime we offer solids. He is breastfed, refuses formula.

Re: Solids
Totally agree with PP. Did not start my youngest on solids until 10.5 months, and now at a year he eats everything in sight (within reason).
