Re: $ How much is your stash $

I haven't added it up. WELL over $2,000 though. I'm not sure how much of that I've made back with selling things too. And I don't feel the least bit bad about it either.

That is a perfect way of looking at it! I should go add ours up so I don't feel like such a nut case for spending so much on wool.

Re: $ How much is your stash $

I voted for over $2000..but I am really not sure. I have a lot of custom longies and lots of GM's, Mutts and PB&E...I don't feel that bad about it b/c I share my diapers with my sister because they are saving money for a new home. My excuse is I am buying for 3 kids!

Re: $ How much is your stash $

I voted 200-500. I am guessing right now I am sitting at about 300. Keep in mind that this is all within the last few weeks

I need to add it up ...

When I first started I bought a "lot" off FSOT of stuff at once for 75.00 well guess what I hate all of it except 3 covers. So i wasted the money on that.. most of it was pre-folds and covers. I like pockets so that is where most of the money has went.

Re: $ How much is your stash $

Wow, why'd you make me do that? I just counted up my PP transactions since Nov. JUST ON PAYPAL, I have spend $ 122.11. I have probably spent a good $ 50-60 at the thrift store too (some PFs, fleece outfits, t-shirts, flannel recieving blankets for flats, and some flats) So my stash is still under $200 and I can ALMOST completely CD for 3 days without washing. (I end up washing my favorites.)

I plan on buying new PFs (infant & premie) and about 30 fitteds in various brands/sizes for my own newborn stash.

I have spent almost $200 on my sister's kid! Who I only CD part-time! (Every time I have her, which is once a weekend.) My stash is up to about 60 diapers total.

Find a wahm who is starting out - order in bulk, wahms are usually fast to give good discounts and free shipping if you order a lot from them - it helps them get their name and product out there and you can score big

Re: $ How much is your stash $

Less than $200 right now...a big part of our stash is gerber birdseye prefolds which are only $12 for a dozen...some people hate them, they work for us though. I've gotten some great deals from FFS and mamas just wanting to really get rid of their stash (20 WAHM pockets & AIOs for less than $20 is my biggest score ). So far the most I've spent on a brand new diaper is full price for a BG 3.0 to try it out..and I love it, but I'm a bargain shopper and try not to buy new...even though I may get a few more of those. Even my two wools that will be here tomorrow were FFS ($5.95 flat rate box lol). Once the new baby gets here, we'll see how much that goes up..I think I've got enough, but I'll just have to see : ) I don't even tempt myself by looking at goodmama's or anything like that..hubby would have a heart attack if he knew I spent that much on a diaper.
