Question How long would you wait???

OK - so DD2 finally got the GI bug that made it's way thri the house. We had just started w/ rice cereal for maybe a wk when it hit ALL of us except her. Then almost a wk later she started vomiting; after an hour of it (every 5min) She had no more...I stuck just w/ breastfeeding after 2 days of no vomiting and her acting fine - we tried cereal & a bit of applesauce - vomited. Today went to doc for check-up; she suggested trying again. I gave her TWO bites of applesauce; about 20 -30min later; vomited. And it has been over 72hours since the last time. So - how long would you wait before trying solids again?? She nurese fine & otherwise is a happy baby. And gets excited when she sits in the highchair - acts like she wants to EAT!!

Hmm... maybe try something other than applesauce? Instead of rice cereal maybe an acceptable oat based?

I would stick with breastfeeding for a little while longer. Also, maybe you can give her some probiotics? We use Primadophilus for children. Is is a powder that dissolves in liquid.
