Re: butt paste?

It will stain the diapers. You can use it with a liner though. Get some cheap microfleece from walmart or whereever and cut it into 5 x 12 pieces and lay it in the diaper.

They sell it at my local WalMart, but I live where it is made. It is awesome, awesome stuff, comparable to Nystatin. It does stain pretty badly, but I have used it on my FB and then sunned them with no problem, it's completley alleviated the stain. I would check your local drugstore, too.

Re: butt paste?

So it only stains, doesn't affect preformance even of FB's? I can live with staining and would love to have a relatively easy to find option.

Re: butt paste?

ohhh yeah, butt paste works so well. The only one time my dd had a rash it took it right away.(she was still in sposies though) I would say use fleece liners though.

Re: butt paste?

I used Butt Paste when I started CDing 'cause that's what I had on-hand. I think it works just as well as CD-friendly creams, such as Burt's Bees or Bum Butter...'cept it stained my FBs--and sun has done nothing to remove the tan-ish stains. I also feel they caused my older FBs to repel--DH always slathered DD"s but in the Butt Paste, so lg. qtys of it are BAD, IMO.
I'm getting rid of all my Butt Paste just as soon as I figure out what to do w/ it...
