I have skimmed the posts about boycotting FB's with the new price increase / MOE inserts. I can't say what I will or won't do yet, beacuse my little one isn't even here yet.

I have bought most of my FB's on FSOT and have a stash of XS & S. I plan to use them, and if they work well, I will buy larger sizes. I have bought a few XS FB online "retail" simply because no one seems to want to unload those.

But back to my thread title / question...are mama's boycotting FB's on the FSOT boards as well? It just seems that there are a ton of them out there right now and no one is really buying them up like I've seen in the past. I didn't know if it was "cyclical" or related to the current unhappiness over the price increase / MOE inserts.

Part of me is just curious, but another part is wondering if I'm going to be able to re-sell my smaller size dipes when I am done with them.

if I could afford it I'd buy everyone's FSOT FBs lol I LOVE FB!!! that's why I am so upset with the price hike!

I am curious about this too - I'm going to have like 20 mediums to sell off in just a couple of months. *wince* I really need to get some sort of return on them or half my argument for CDin'g to DH is out the window.

Id buy FB second hand if they were the right price. Buying second hand gives no profits to the maker.

I don't see why they would boycott second hand fbs... they don't profit the company and if anything make it so one is less likely to go purchase them new from the company. You can ALWAYS get rid of FBs on Evilbay. They go for a killing on there!

Personally I think people are not buying them on FSOT is because they are asking too much! I have been trying to find some mediums on FSOT, but people are asking $12ppd for them and I can get them brand new for $12.50 with free insert and free shipping so doesn't make much sense! If they lowered there prices they might actually sell! That is just my

i think right now alot of mamas are just buying them new....I'm sure once the price increase takes place the FSOT ones will sell better. But there are some online retailers with really good deals on FBs right now so its nearly better to buy new KWIM? Unless someone is selling some EUC at a pretty low price.

I tried everything before I decided to try FB and I am glad I did. My DH loves them, so i do not plan on boycotting. I buy mine from the seconds site or used. I dont use inserts, but MF towels.
