QUICK!!!----yeast q??

I put my pkt of yeast in warm water---but it isn't bubbling yet. It's been about 10 minutes. Can I still use it ?? I am making pizza crust, and have no more yeast!! Why didn't it bubble?? (I am new to this yeast thing!!)

you can use it. My yeast never bubbles or froths unless I throw about 1/2 tsp of sugar..
Go ahead and use it according to the directions

First, make sure it isn't expired!! Seriously, I've done that before.

Just add some sugar, so the yeast has something to "eat", and it will most likely activate. Also, make sure your water wasn't too hot, or not hot enough. You are probably fine though!

Thanks!! i just threw it in. It prob wasn't hot enough, I was scared to kill it I'm hoping it will be fine!
