Re: Blenders - can yours puree/make smoothies?

I have the Cuisinart Food Processor that I have been using and it does anything

However I bought the Magic Bullet last week at Costco just because I wanted to start making smoothies -and to my surprise it purees everything too - well, haven't tried raw carrots yet. It is the easiest thing to use and my 4 year old is because I am making her fruit smoothies!

So far with MB I have pureed, sweet potatoes, nectarines, mango and tomorrow I am making applesauce.

We bought ours at Costco for like 50-60 bucks and this thing makes a smoothie in like 2 minutes. (this includes frozen whole strawberries, juice, other berries/fruit, frozen yogurt) I just push one button and it blends the smoothie till its ready.
Its a Oster fusion

Haven't tried crunchy veggies, but think it would-It's a Braun.

I always use consumer reports on-line to purchase these sorts of items-they never steer me wrong
