She's just like her mama!

My 2 year old NEVER ceases to amaze me!

As like most little girls, my dd has her own little baby that she pushes in the stroller, feeds it food, wipes it's heiny, etc. Well, the other day I was just making conversation with her and asked her if her baby was hungry. She then shaked her head yes, so I asked her if she was going to feed her baby like mama feeds Jonah. I wanted to see if she actually knew how Jonah is fed, and sure enough! She lifted up her shirt and put the baby in the appropiate spot!

DH came home and I was like "look hunny, watch!" and I had Joelle do it again. The look on his face was PRICELESS! He was like "is that ok for her to do that?!" lol He was a little taken back!

Then today, we pulled out the pull out couch bed thing b/c I wasn't feeling well and just wanted to lay down, and one of my cloth nursing pads that had fallen behind the cushions fell out. I looked over at her and she was putting it under her shirt, in the right spot!

There were also some mama pads that had fallen out too because I had a friend over the other day and was showing them to her...once again..dd layed down and tried putting one on! How does she know what those are?! I only used them a little towards the end of my postpardem...other than that I haven't had a period in FOREVER.

Seriously! It's truly amazing how much you kids watch you and take things in!!

Tell me some of the cute things your kids do to mimic you!

Oh I know, DD started chasing me around with a block in the shape of a crocodile going "GRRRRRRRRRRR" I don't even remember telling her that that's what crocodiles do! She'll also start wiping anything if she finds a washcloth. So cute!

Aww these stories are so cute. I can hardly wait until DD starts doing imitative stuff like that. So far the only thing she does is dance... but I mean MOST babies do that, so it's not like she's extraordinary in that or anything.

Ben will put pretty much anything he can to his ear and say hello? Everything is his phone, what does that say about me, LOL!

Re: She's just like her mama!

My 12 month old has been carrying around her sister's Cabbage Patch doll all week. Today she put the doll on her shoulder and started patting its back. I was floored that she'd be doing that already.

Elliott 'puts on makeup' and rubs in lotion. She pats her babies (keeping my eyes open for the breastfeeding moment. hehe She carries a purse and fixes her hair. Cleans up messes....I think she IS me....

Mine used to BF his babydoll. He said boys could too.

And that's ADORABLE!
