OK, so I know that I see if your computer is registered with 2 accounts on DS you get banned because you can only have one account. But I have also seen DH's and wives having an aco**** each. Is there a specil rule for that, cause I would really like DH to get his own account hahahahahahaha But I don't want to get banned for too many accounts with one ip addy

This is def. going to be a question for the Admin staff. I know that both my wife and I have accounts, and we share the same IP addy. I do believe I signed up at work, so it would log a different IP addy there, but we do both post from home. I would say just to go for it, but I wouldnt want you too, then get in trouble for it..

I do know though, that this would be better suited in the Ask the Pro's section.

I think it theoretically may only become an issue if you were to cause problems. I know the one 5littlemonkeys person who was just banned had another account, but they didn't catch it until after she did some scamming, even though she had registered them at the same time.

We take this in to account and will ask questions if we felt there was something fishy. This is something we always look out for and don't normally have issues with this.

I know in the past on other forums my DH and I have both been memebers. We were treated as individuals, although we shared an IP addy. I assume it would be the same here. I know on most boards not only is banning an IP an option...so is banning just a name.

I make note of all banned members IPs and spouses on my forum in case one has to be banned and the other tries to open a new account or log on under their spouses name. You can generate a spread sheet in Excell to help keep a list. It can be a tedious task at first, Lee, but well worth it for member control. With a higher member number in such as this community has it could take many hands to generate the list and keep it updated weekly, but some food for thought
