Ok, back. I asked a LLL leader friend. She says shatavari is safety rated a "B." And B means:
B - may not be appropriate for self-use by some individuals or dyads, or may cause adverse affects if misused. Seek reliable safety and dose info
B - may make baby fussy or sleepless, considered safe to use if not pregnant, do not have a medical condition, and are not taking other meds

She suggested perhaps Goat's Rue instead.

Naps, more sleep, drink plenty, fenugreek and brewer's yeast tablets, nursing every 2 hrs. around the clock (if possible). This has worked for all 4 of my kiddos. Good luck!

Domperidone--yes. I took it for 3 months or so and it did double my supply--not saying a whole much since I went from 6 oz a day to 12 oz a day--but it was something. No side effects either. There's a great internet pharmacy in Canada--lifhaus pharmacy--that will supply it if you provide a prescription. Much cheaper than getting a pharmacy to compound it, or getting it through New Zealand (which I heard you can get it from.) GOOD LUCK!!!!
