Have you seen the new homeschooling subforum in parenting talk. You may get more responses there, just a suggestion.

We're using TruthQuest History and using library books- LOVE it!

Also, for Race:
Apologia Physical Science
Lightning Lit & Comp
Easy Grammar- with a little Easy Writing
Abeka Pre-Algebra and Spelling
Fallacy Detective Logic
Several Bible studies

Then his co-op group has gym, art, music, newspaper and local history (gym all the time, others rotate). They meet on Mondays from 12:30-3.

For Zane:
Before Five in a Row
Little Hands to Heaven
Eventually- year or so, Handwriting Without Tears and Math U See

We did a heavy "text book" curriculum last year- BORING!!! This year we'll do lots of notebooking, timelines, living books, hands on experiments, etc.

I have been HSing my oldest daughter for some time now. She is in the 3rd grade and we are using Calvert. We absolutely LOVE it. It is a perfect fit for us. If we didn't have Calvert Abeka would be our second choice.
