Yup, it's a hoax. Google "citizens against breastfeeding". It's a prankster. This guy even takes out ads in newspapers. When my son was just a baby, I was reading a college newspaper and saw an ad that looked totally legitimate in the back that said, "Ban Breastfeeding" and "Citizens Against Breastfeeding" and some other stuff. It completely baffled me and I had to investigate.

So if breasts are only sexual and we are not meant to be nourished by the...um...why the heck didn't GOD create another way for infants to eat? I guess for the first few thousand years of humanity (before the creation of formula) everyone was sexually abused????

They should not allow people to publish such trash as "real" if it is not. Joke I can deal with...even if it is in poor taste to say the least. But, to actually out this trash out to the public is just beyond me. I know that we have the Freedom of speech rights, but that is speading false medical information to people. Some people may believe it to some degree - those who have been victums of trama etc. How unfair for a person to start questioning their own self because of filth like this. Not everyone is gifted with a higher education and knowledge base as we are. I had a neighbor who was MR and she had very little knowledge on BFIng and such when she got PG...in fact...she had no idea HOW she got PG. Imagine if SHE had read that.

I actually had a friend who would only breastfeed her female children and never breastfed her male children because she had that same type of view, but she definitely had sexual trauma early on in life.

I'd hate to see if the LLL read that ad.

DH's friend's wife is like that! She says that BF boys will make them very sex-addicts as adults! I can't stand it when they come over

I feel sorry for this woman. You have to think that anyone who had a healthy childhood couldn't write such filth.
I read most of what she wrote and that's the vibe I got.
