How can someone who's been a member for less than a year have a post count of more than 3,000? I've seen this alot. It seems impossible.

it's possible, i used to make 100 posts a day when i was pg with ds2 trying to reach 20,000 posts. it can be done easily

i don't posts as much now but look at my postcount i'm at 24,635 now and my ds2 just turned 6 months old a few days ago
