help! super soakers!

so my babies are pee factories. They pee and pee and pee. I use hemp/fleece soakers at night with a prefold stuffed in a pocket, and the top of their jammies still gets wet. also--when they sleep in fleece--their pjs are damp. YUCK! so, now what? I use premium prefolds. what else can I do? my babies sleep 12 hours at night. anyone else out there have this prob???

Re: help! super soakers!

Do you point their pee pees down? Sometimes that helps my DS, who is also a super pee-er, but he still leaks a lot. We're still trying to figure out what will work for his long nights.

All I have to say is....wool...wool....wool...esp. if you use a doubler layer soaker/longie, it's nearly fool proof. I use pf's with infant pf's as doublers at night with wool covers and I don't have leak issues. If I use a PUL cover at night, she's awake by 3 am soaked through, sheets and all and VERY unhappy.

Re: help! super soakers!

The only thing that really works for us is a bionic VBSN (from Olive Branch Baby - of course they're not easy to get unfortunately) with a wool cover. I must admit that I've never tried pfs, because every time I try to get one on her #1 it's an epic battle and #2 it just doesn't look right (probably because of #1! LOL). The diaper is usually soaked by morning, but she's at most damp on the outside of her sleeper.
