My Photo Tutorial on the newspaper fold

I found a decent fold to use on my reds until her smaller pf's get here. It trims down the prefolds a lot so she can wear them better and fit her better and aren't as bulky.

This is done with a GMD Red on an 11 1/2 lb baby that is 23 inches long.

Lay baby on spread out pf and fold down the front the necessary amount to fit your little one. Wipe not necessary

Tri fold diaper to form the belly panel

When creating the panel make sure the diaper folds touch baby's butt cheek so that it will create little "leg sleeves" when you fold the diaper up. This will contain all the poop in the world. You can also tuck these in if you wish, but I generally don't.

Bring up belly panel and spread out over baby's belly.

Bring the sides of the diaper to the front and hold to Snappi or pin.

See the nice leg sleeves that are nice and tight around her legs without being too tight? Contains EVERYTHING! No need to fold in those edges.

The GMD Red edge is a little too big for dd, but with this fold it's not as bulky as the other folds. The sides still stick out a little, but she can wear her clothes over this without looking like she's got wonky butt
