Re: I need your good thought and prayers.

Well I had the appointment and the U/S tech said "I don't really see anything". I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. I really wish I could just go see my regular doctor in the city.

I am not discouraged yet! There has been no more spotting and I had a few good waves of nausea today. I also have a longer cycle, more like 32 days and at every U/S I've had before I've dated a week behind. With the girls I thought I was six weeks and I dated five, so according to my LMP I am 5 weeks 5 days but would only be 4 weeks 5 days or so.

So please keep up the good thoughts and prayers that a bean will make an appearance soon. DS said he wants twin baby brothers.

Re: I need your good thought and prayers.

Big prayers for you mama!! Just some more words of encouragement...

When I was pregnant w/ #5 I thought I still had an IUD. Fortunatly (well now anyway...) it came out and all was well... but they didn't see a baby, only an empty sac. They had me go in for blood tests every other day and weekly u/s' until we saw a HB and even though it was so stressful (not to mention we had a previously planned trip to Disneyland during my 6th week) I was never so happy in my life to see that little heart beating away!! There never was really a threatened m/c even though the NP said there was originally, I was just too early to have seen a HB or anything more than a yolk sac and the start of a gestational sac. So all that worry for nothin!! I know its worrisome to bleed at all during pregnancy, I have with all but 1 baby, but I always thought that brown blood isn't as bad as red blood and is often shed in early pregnancy (4-5wks) after implantation. Please KUP!!

Re: I need your good thought and prayers.

Thank you for the encouragement and prayers!

I am hoping that is was just excesses that my body was clearing out and had nothing to do with the baby. I am also really hoping this doctor will order the hCG blood tests. If he doesn't do anything I am going to the city to see my regular doctor.

Did they mention anything about a follow up u/s or blood work?? Especially if you have a history of m/c I would think they'd order blood work asap!

I didn't think it was possible to even see a heartbeat or anything like that until week 8 or 9. I think it is too early to fret about your ultra sound and just hang in there. If the nausea remains, everything is probably just fine.

Re: I need your good thought and prayers.

Ok so the doctor called me and said he didn't see anything on the U/S and I probably was never pregnant. But my 4 postive pregnancy test beg to differ. He did say that there was a thickened spot of endometrium and an ovarian cyst but didn't know what that meant. He also didn't see a point of the blood testing. So I made an appointment with my OB in the city and hopefully get some real answers.
