Highest not-pregnant-- 205
Start-- 189

Week 14-- 165.5
Week 15-- 165
Week 16-- 167
Week 17-- 164.5
Week 18-- 163

Loss-- 1.5
Total loss-- 26 pounds
Final: 150

I think I'm going to give up cold cereal in the morning. I've still been eating core cereals, but it seems I don't lose as well (plus am starving later!) with cold cereal. I think that might be where my slow losses come from. Half way through the week when I started eating oatmeal my weight loss shot up again.

I'm excited for hitting the 25 pound mark!

Re: April WW! Stop dieting start living!

OK, so here's my roadblock . . .
I lost 15 lbs when I first started ww online flex. I was supposed to be eating 30 points and then 29. Evidently I need a lot of hand holding because I did fine when I could use the meal plans. However, now the meal plans are giving me 20 points and when left to my own devices I am screwing it all up. I am always cheating late in the day (sweets), skipping breakfast (kids, argh) and not making time to exercise (workaholic DH). Do I need meetings (not wild about an extra $12 a week)? How do you guys find the time for exercise, make time for yourself to eat right and prepare healthy foods and remain self motivated? Whine, whine. I'm so needy!

Re: April WW! Stop dieting start living!

You can mix and match the meal plans. Right now mine is showing 22 pts for all the items. Check out the search menu options- you can search by ingredient, or even by point value- very handy IME. DO NOT skip breakfast!! It usually results in overeating later. My new tactic has been to eat a large serving of oatmeal in the morning (7:30-8am), and then I'm really not hungry until 2-3pm. Give Core a try! It forces you to pay more attention to when you are honestly hungry, instead of trying to find a low point snack/meal.

Congrats on the 15 lbs!!

Whoo! No more .5 pound losses! I also found the oatmeal was VERY important for losing the weight for me.... I'm not sure if it's just the feeling full, or if the extra fiber is helping to lose the weight, but whatever it is, oatmeal is a must have at my house now!

Re: April WW! Stop dieting start living!

Okay i am a day late for weigh in, but with good reason - i didn't own a scale and just got to the store today to buy one!

Well my first week was a bit of a wash.... i did really well for 3 days watching points, but then "crap hit the fan" so to speak with our in progress home remodel and i have spent every waking moment painting, calking, sanding, grouting, etc and paying no mind to what i am putting in my mouth when a 5 min break rolls around i just scramble for something easy and quick! So here is my weigh in for this past week:

Starting Weight: 198
Week 1: 198

No loss but no gain so hey at least my butt isn't getting bigger... I suppose i should be happy with that, and considering my total nonfocus on this i will accept it and do better this next week!

Maggie! Great job on the no gain! And AWESOME! on committing to try again! Half the battle is saying "ok, today wasn't good, tomorrow will be better!" it is so easy to get discouraged and decide that you can't do this.... BUT YOU CAN! Even if you're in a rush, count your points.... Even if you know you're over your daily amount, count your points! It will help you to learn which quick foods can work into your point range!

Re: April WW! Stop dieting start living!

Ok I know it's May now, so I'll repost when the new May thread is started. Here's my weigh-in from this morning:

Starting weight (preg): 218
Last week: 169
This week: 168
Current loss: 1
Total loss: 50!!!!!
Goal #1: 166.5
Pounds to go: 1.5
Goal #2: 145-150
Pounds to go: 18-23

Of course I had to weigh in about a zillion times for it to register any loss, but I'm counting it!!!!! It's a morale thing!

We finally got a stroller for 5 month DD (had been wearing her.. but that was getting uncomfortable for long walks) so I hope to be getting some fresh air and exercising more regularly now!
