Best electric breastpump?
I have an Evenflo electric pump and a Gerber manual pump. I hate both of them!! The manual just takes too much of my time and the Evenflo does not have enough suction for me. I can't really spend alot of money right now.
What do you ladies think is the best electric pump for the cheapest price? TIA for any advice!! Amanda |

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I have tried 3 different Electrics and I must say, my super fav is the Medela Double Electric. It is a bit pricer but so well worth it. I got mine for $50 but I bought it used and then just bought new inserts and tubing. You can also try the Medela hand pump as the new one is fabulous, I found it very comfortable and very quick.

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I have the Pump in Style Advanced - Medela.
Love that thing - the only thing better was blue hospital grade Medela.

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I would really caution against using anything but Medela, Amedia and Avent. Gerber and Evenflo have been shown to cause nipple damage in many women. I totally know how expensive the good brands are, but it's more than worth the cost. Personally, I'll buy a used one when I'm ready to BF again!

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I know it is a huge investment, but I would not be breastfeeding today without my Medela pump in style (I work part-time).
My sister bought every cheaper pump she could (avent manual, evenflo, etc) and they never worked for her.

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I don't pump every day, but I have the Medela Swing. Its a small version single pump of their more expensive ones.
http://www.target.com/Medela-Swing-B...e=1&rh=&page=1 $150 at Target & I had also registered at Target.com awhile back and they sent out coupons. I remember getting a $20 off any breast pump quite a few times. I also have their manual pump, the harmony, best manual pump Ive used. http://www.target.com/Medela-Harmony...e=1&rh=&page=1 although I don't pump nearly as often as some, these have both worked out for me & occasional pumping. You can compare pumps or answer questions to find what pump would best fit your needs at their website. www.medela.com

Hi Mama, I have had my Medela PIS on FSOT for awhile now and have had no takers. It is truly one of the best electric breast pumps. Not sure if you really need this but if you do i am willing to work out a sale/trade with you. It is an expensive pump but i am willing to meet your needs since i still have it and don' t want to do ebay. ! let me know mama! |

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I loved my Medela Pump in Style. It got me through pumping everything for my dd while I worked (about 6 months).

Re: Best electric breastpump?
I have an Ameda Purely Yours. I love it. It's very similar to the PIS, but was less expensive. You'll get better results with the Ameda Purely Yours or the PIS. They are definitely worth the money if you need to pump on a regular basis.
