That was the only concern about Ethan.

I do know that the boys middle name will be either Douglas or Arlen. But my brain can't think of any other boy first names this pregnancy.

If our DD was a boy she would have been Ethan. Popular or not. I love the name. It's one of my faves on the boy list.

they are cute, but I agree that ethan is too popular for me. I do like Arlen over Douglas though

I like them both! Have you checked the popularity statistics? They're online both nationwide and by state (at least for my state!).

I like Arlen too (well I'm particular since is DH's name) I just didn't know if Ethan Arlen worked? No matter the popularity of Ethan I still really like it. I think that our girls name is picked and will probably stay that way. It's just the boys that is a bit unsure.

It's funny we were so set on DS's name and weren't completly sure on our girls name when we were pg and now it's reversed. I'm sure hoping that means we're having a girl.
