OP mama. I think your idea sounds great and very meaningful.

I had a m/c at about 6 weeks and I still buried my best guess of the baby in our garden just outside of our apartment building and then took some pictures (because I knew we'd be moving).

I'm glad you posted about this. It's so important to have someone to process with about what you are experiencing. Thanks for being brave to do so.

i was 12 weeks when i had mine (Father's Day '07). I had bled out in the toilet so much that i never saw the fetus. My husband didn't talk much either, even though i needed that, i couldn't force it on him. he just had to deal in his own way,kwim. SS mama, I know it hurts.

The only natural m/c I had was at 7.5 weeks so too early to really see anything. Just felt a big clot pass and knew that was it. Felt terrible flushing it but didn't know what else to do- there was so much blood.

Your idea sounds great. Plant something that is hardy in your area so you know it will survive and come back every year.
