Re: Newbie stash worries
Thanks so much everyone.
I think I was just having a pregnancy freak-out. I should have mentioned that I will be making a bunch of wipes, so hopefully I'll be covered there.

If everyone was the same the world would be a VERY boring place.

Re: Newbie stash worries
My dd was 7# 12ozs at birth, 8#'s even at 1 week old and is now 11 days old. We are still not in any Smalls ~ all NB dipes. I like the KL0 and NB Mutts best. The preemie prefolds I have seem too small yet the infants seem to big ~ either way I can not figure them out (yes, I practiced for months on a doll with success). It looks like you have a lot in your stash but I would suggest some KL0's in there for early on. If you can master those prefolds though I think you would be fine.

Re: Newbie stash worries
Glad to hear you're making some wipes - you will definately be fine. My DS is 2 1/2 weeks and is about 7 lbs. now. He is a bit small for some of the stuff I have that starts at 8lbs - mostly those skinny little chicken legs are what limit us! We are doing diaper wash every two days. This is the stuff we have (that fits - there is more stuff on hand that is bigger):
27 infant prefolds (UBIPFs and CPFs) 8 hemp prefolds 7 fitteds (6 KL0s and one FMBG) 1 NB BSWW 3 NB prowraps (umbilical cut-out was very helpful at first) 2 gerber NB covers (kinda ugly but work!) 1 small polarbabies that I use as a cover 42 wipes 1 travel wetbag (for in the diaper bag) 2 diaper pail liner bags (we use dry pail method) I also got 12 "regular size" premium prefolds which work great as burp cloths, and to place under baby on the changing table to prevent having to change the terry-cloth changing pad cover all the time. The covers seem to be what limits us (when we are running out is when doing wash gets urgent!). We started with 24 wipes and then that was what made us do wash! The KL0's prevent BF poo blowouts (onto the cover) the best. We did just fine figuring out the PFs - DH was a little snappi-impaired at first, but did fine with it after about one week. Good luck with your new little one!
