*SOB* my dog chewed up my wool soaker

Yes its true, my dog chewed up my wool soaker. I'm so sad. I had it sitting on the table and when I came out it was on the floor with most of the left leg ripped. I dont think there's anything I cna do to repair it. I'm so upset.

What about emailing the maker and seeing if they could try to fix it

She's been spending a lot of time crated since that happened. I guess it gives me a reason to buy something new...but you know.

So sad but thanks for the warning. I have a dental appliance and my dentist warned me to keep it away from the dog. Dogs love any bodily fluid or smell apparently. So sorry Jess. I'll keep my wool away from my pup now!

Re: *SOB* my dog chewed up my wool soaker

My lab has destroyed more wool and diapers than I can count.

I'm so sorry. It's such a crappy thing to have happen!

Awww, man! What a bummer. It is possible that it could be repaired... might be worth looking into.

Re: *SOB* my dog chewed up my wool soaker

Mine chose my most expensive wool cover to destroy last week. $50 Fuzbomb before I discovered Diaper Swappers and don't pay those prices anymore!

Since your longies are knit, they should be fixable (haven't seen a pic, so can't guarantee). The problem would be finding matching yarn, especially if it was a specialty hand-painted or kettle-tied yarn. You could always pull the other leg out as well and then knit two new matching legs (would contrast the diaper part). This might be more time-consuming and expensive for the original seller to do, but if you have a knitter friend, the legs are the easiest part!
