Re: If I am PG, should I stay away from the rollercoasters?

I went snowboarding before I knew I was pregnant, if all the falling and landing on my butt didn't hurt me or the baby then I would bet a rollercoaster or 2 will be ok for you. JMO But I might stay away from the extremely jerky rides just to be on the safe side.

If not, maybe the coasters
but this kind of sounds like fun too, take a picnic basket and put the test in (if pos). Either way I hope you have fun.

I know my example is TOTALLY different than yours but my hubby and I deer hunt and I went hunting and climbing up into a ladder stand up until 2 weeks before I had my DD#2. I should also note that I wore a safety harness and was EXTREMELY careful of every move. Hubby was right behind me too just "in case". I also harvested a deer during this time. I guess that might contribute to my DD being an outdoorsy gal!!!!!

Oh wow! That could explain the out-doors-iness of your DD

And thank you, even if I have a BFN it still will be nice since it's been about a year since we have done anything by ourselves and this is all day

I went to DisneyLand and California Adventure when I was between 6-7wks and went on some roller coasters. I did avoid the Indiana Jones ride b/c I know that its really jerky and especially in the tummy area.

I think you'd be just fine this early on. If you didnt' suspect you were pregnant you would be on, right?

I agree that it should be ok this early on. I went when I was really early on and dr. ok'd it first it was before I even had my first appt. so I just called in to ask him and he said the baby would be fine.

Right, but I would hate to have caused problems if I knew or suspected so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask just in case I get overly protective of that little bean from the first moment I suspect
