Re: ADHD question

My 11 year old has Asperger's with ADHD does that say enough? LOL

Anyway, we have found one of her main triggers for wild, bad behavior is wheat. We did a food elimination that was NOT fun but worth the effort

We are on a suppliment regime and she's not on medication. She had been on meds for about 2 1/2 years or so and she's BETTER off the meds than on! But like I said, wheat was a HUGE problem and we let her eat it now and then but mostly not. We just know that she will be full of issues we have to deal with if we let her eat it.

Oh, we did do Chelation on her as well as her problems are also caused by heavy metals in her system. She had a hair test that showed her body is full of aluminum and mercury, both known neurotoxins. So the Chelation helps her body to flush the heavy metals out so her brain can work better and it has helps a ton!

Now, she's getting to be a normal mouthy tween But that is ok with me

Re: ADHD question

I was wondering that, too!

You might also want to look into neurofeedback. It helps a lot of kids. Mine responded best to medication/behavioral work/social skills/traditional therapy. But first, we tried a variety of diet options plus the neurofeedback, and I recommend them both. When they work for you, it's great, and it feels so good to know you found a natural way around the problem. But if it doesn't don't be afraid to try medication. Your kid may thank you for it.

Our doc said it can come from some water (but we have filtered) some fish (which we never eat them) and vax's. The aluminum is water (again, filtered) and vax's.

We did try the medications before we knew of how to treat the problem so we ended up covering the problem until we knew what to do. She was on the medications for 2 1/2 years, lost weight and never grew. It was sad. So that just spured our mission to find something different to help her and we wanted to fix our daughter and not just cover up a problem so we stopped and got her tested.

So that is the main reason why we don't vax any more as there was no other source for the heavy metals but from the vax's.
