WWYD? ? about ## of dipes in machine.

When all is said and done and I am done buying, I'll have 22 Fuzzi Bunz and 22 Prefolds. I don't know what to do about washing. I think I'd have enough to go every 4 days, but I don't think it's recommended and I think that would be way too much in the washer. So, should I just keep going every 3 days?

I wouldn't go any longer than 3 days between washing. The dipes can hold on to stinks longer.

i wash every other day. I have enough dipes to go near a week if i count every prefold but i still wash every other day and rotate them by putting the newly washed dipes on bottom.

^^ Pretty much what they both said. Technically I have enough to go longer, but I still wash every other or every third day. Mainly because the longer they sit, the better chance they have of getting serious stink issues. But, also, because I find that washing about 10-14 diapers is optimal for me. It gives them enough room in the washing machine (that's including inserts and wipes...) and allows enough water for them to actually get clean.

Ideally it'd be nice to only have to do laundry less. But, honestly, I'm one of those freaks who kind of likes washing diapers.

Maybe I will just go for 2-3 days in between, that way I can wash when it's convenient and if for some reason I can't do it on the 3rd day occasionally I'd have enough to go longer.

I wash when the pail gets full. which is usually every second day or every second days and a half. my pail is about a low medium wash when full. if i'm going somewhere (like home) i will wash the night before i go no matter ho full the pail is.

I wash every 2 days, I find if I go longer than that I have to rewash because the dipes are stinky.

I also wash every other day, lately he's been a poop factory so I don't want to wait any longer to wash

I wash every other day. By then, my pail is full, and the highest water level on the machine is just right for the number of diapers.

Re: WWYD? ? about ## of dipes in machine.

I'm washing everyday right now. I'm almost up to enough to do everyother. Personally, I like washing dipes. I love seeing all the clean ones stacked up. I just make sure to rotate the dipes so that the freshly washed ones are at the bottom of the stack. I figure regardless of how many dipes I end up with, I'll just wash them when the pail is full. I know that's a full load, and I don't want them sitting around getting stinky.
