mama-made baby leg warmers

I used women's knee high socks to make these baby leg warmers for my girls. I like how they turned out. I just cut off the foot of the sock and hand-stitched a hem on the bottom. They are going to be a great alternative to tights this fall and winter.

Those are beautiful. I love the stripes. You did a good job and they look so cute on. As soon as my machine is fixed I'm going to make some for my little girl too.

I found lots of boy colors at Target! Last time I went I got a black/grey stripes, brown/tan stripes, grey with guitars and "rock on" written on them, and some super soft lime green argyle.

Those are adorable, someone else said they were going to try that, I looked at socks in Target the other day, lots of boy and girl colors. I chickened out though. Mybe I will pick up a pair and try it.
