Re: "sposie outfits" and other trimness thoughts...

I am probably the only one that never has to size up for diapers and I don't have to buy clothes with CDs in mind. When I was CDing DS, the diapers helped to hold his pants up. Even now at 3 1/2 years (30 pounds as well) he wears a 3 in inseam but they won't stay up unless they are 18mo but then he is in shorts now with Spring here. With DD, we do wear a lot of dresses but also a lot of pants/jeans. We have had zero issues.

FWIW, DD wears GADs, Nana's Bottoms, mutts, sweetiebums, or Hillbilly Bunnies with WCW or DNF soakers. There are a few other brands we own but they are comparable in fit.

DD hasn't worn a sposie in almost 1 year 3 mo (since she was 2 mo old ) so I have almost forgotten any difference.

I think a prefold (my fav for timness are panda tushies infant size) in the bikini twist with a trim cover (we use WWB with just PUL inner) works well,
Also OBB Marathons are amazingly trim. Oh how i love them!

Re: "sposie outfits" and other trimness thoughts...

I don't have sposies in the house, but on those days when he needs to wear "real" clothes (ie: jeans, overalls, whatever) I use TK Cubbies pockets (trimmest diaper I have ever seen)and Nana's Bottoms AIOs (very trim AIOs). I haven't had a problem yet and although he is 13 months, 21 lbs, he can stillwear 6-9month pants with one of those diapers

We don't have a problem w/any clothes except jeans. For jeans DD wears either a Blueberry AIO or a BG AIO.

The Gymboree pants we have for DD don't fit that well over her fluffy butt. I'm so glad it's getting warmer so I can put her in little dresses. I bought her another little dress at Costco today and that diaper cover is immediately going in her drawer. We wanna show off the fluff!
