Okay, I feel so lost right now. Maybe its because I cant concentrate on anything right now, who knows.
Anyway, can someone please help me? I would like to know what else I need. Here is a list of what I have... 7 newborn covers 11 size small covers 14 of the rectangular dipes. My friends mom made these for her son when she decided to CD. She got the pattern from Very Baby. 12 liners/doublers 2 wool soakers 3 Snappis After this baby outgrows the smalls, I plan to go to AIO's. Can someone also give me some advice about that? What brand? How many? Other needs for CD'ing...Do I just need to get some doublers (which are best for night, in your opinion) and soakers? What else? I feel like such a moron! Thanks- Mel Last edited by gamecaco4; 09-08-2006 at 12:23 PM. |

Re: I need your CD'ing expertise
Hi,
You don't say if you've had your baby yet... but 24 diapers is what you should aim for. You would have to do laundry everyday with 14 diapers. I suggest you get some more prefolds (I think this is what you mean by rectangler diapers.) As for aio's... if you plan to cd exclusively I would still aim for 24. What brnad is up to you.. what works for me... may not work for your baby. I use doublers with most of my aios. You can make them easily with folded flannel and a layer of fleece on top if you are on a budget. I personally prefer pockets to aio's they are more trim and babys bum is always dry. You may want to try them... I hope you are less confused.. |

Re: I need your CD'ing expertise
Ahhh...that does help a bit.
Yes, I did mean prefolds. Im still pregnant (not due til Jan.). That could be the reason for my lack of brain power and the inability to concentrate. Thank you, Laura! Mel |
