rugburn!

Since Amira is crawling, she is getting rugburn on her cuttle little legs! Poor girl, she has started to whine with every crawl b/c the skin is uncomfortable.

So, what do you guys do for crawl-burn? She is too chubby for babylegs.

HUM, my girls never got rug burns, but we have had our share of black knees and tops of feet. Makes you feel like you don't clean enough, but it would happen right after I mopped so I dunno.

Maybe but a little ointment on like Dixies bum butter, or even a little olive oil just to sooth the skin a little. Poor baby. Good luck.

Re: rugburn!

Could it be eczema? My dd gets this because she is sensitive to the carpet. She has to wear pants and long sleeves, but it was to hot, so I had a lot of fleece cut and we lay that in the living room floor for her to play on.

Buy regular ladies socks (not athletic ones) and just cut the foot off and walla- custom "babylegs" that will protect her knees without cutting her circulation off

Re: rugburn!

I've seen lightweight pants with alittle padding to the knee made for crawling. Have you seen/tried those?

Thanks I wanted to put something on it but most of what I have is scented (just slightly but still) and I dont want it to burn. You think just plain Olive Oil will help?

Exactly, and a lot of the women's socks are kinda cute, so you could put the FUN in function!
