yarn for knitting??
I want to buy some yarn for some customs, but I don't really understand the differences. There was a great thread that I got a lot of info, but it didn't mention anything about sock yarn, which is what I see a lot of.
WHAT IS SOCK YARN?? and can you/should you use it for soakers/longies?? thanks mamas!

Re: yarn for knitting??
Worsted weight is the most common for longies/shorties. I don't think you can use sock yarn or lace weight. Bulky doesn't work out very well, either-too stiff. HTH!
