I want to become active on this board..so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rachel (22) and I live in VA w/ my fiance, Roberto (25). We have a 17 month old son together, Adrien.. We are currently 23 weeks pregnant w/ another little boy, I am due Aug 13th. So far everything is going great! I can feel him moving around regularly, blood tests have come back perfect, ultrasounds look perfect..just waiting on baby. Such a relief after having 3 miscarriages before our son, and we also had a little scare at 16 weeks- I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid and my cervix was looking a bit abnormal. I have decided to go w/ a midwife this time (now that it's confirmed that everything is going OK), and I am planning on laboring in the water and delivering on the bed naturally. The tubs are too small to actually birth in, so this is my best option. I'm really excited about giving birth, but I am also a bit scared. I think I have the normal worries that every pregnant woman has though. I was induced w/ my son at 37 weeks and opted for an epidural, so all of this is going to be way different.

Well, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you ladies. It will be nice to have some pregnancy buddies!

I'm new, too! Welcome. I am going to try and frequent this site, more, too.
I have a bb I visit regularly for my Sept 05 baby and I love it. I haven't found one for this baby yet!
