Question WOW! Did I feel my baby move today?

So I was at lunch with a friend today, and all of a sudden, I felt an odd vibration in the area of my uterus. It was like a fast throbbing, or like a miniature boxer was working out in there. Not butterflies, like I've heard it described before.

Anyway, I just started my 16th week, so I MIGHT be able to feel something at this point, right?

Let me know what you think! I've never felt anything like this before.

Oh yes it is totally possible. The first flutter I felt with my first was at 18 weeks and it felt like butterflies.

How exciting mama!!!

Totally possible. I think it feels different for everyone. I was feeling this one move at like 12-13 weeks! And, DD at 14 weeks.

i told my ob that i thought i was pregnant because i felt movement at 12 weeks, just a little. he said you don't feel it until later, but sure enough i was pregnant, and after the next time i came in to verify my due date, i was 12 weeks when i first started feeling the flutters =) that was my second though, so i knew what that feeling was. this third one i started feeling at about 14 weeks.

I never felt the "flutters" either, nothing of the sort. I felt baby #1 at 17 weeks, baby #2 at 14 weeks, and baby #3 I felt around 17 weeks, a few days before. No flutters here, ever with any baby!

Totally possible. I felt my first at 16 weeks (could actually feel it outside too - i was super skiny then lol). What I felt was like some flicking inside. And it was so cool to feel it outside at the same time. Little itty bitty tiny kicks.

Re: WOW! Did I feel my baby move today?

It's very possible. I have a tipped uterus, so I feel movement VERY early. I felt DD at 13 weeks. I felt this one since 10 weeks. SO many people say, "That's impossible!" Oh no, it's not. It's the exact same little flicks and pokes I felt at 18 weeks with DD, just lighter. I'm 14+ weeks right now, and I've been feeling the baby for quite some time. Yesterday DH and I were snuggling and I was getting some good pokes. He actually felt a teeny-tiny bump on the hardest of the pokes I got. He didn't feel DD until around 20 weeks, so it was really special for him.

I know, I know, everyone says, "That's impossible." Trust me, it is. I've been able to watch the baby poke and kick on the ultrasound screen and felt the corresponding pokes. It IS the baby. I'm just one of the few lucky mamas who feels the very early movements. It's nothing regular. Sometimes I go 2-3 days without so much as a flutter, some days (like yesterday) I get a good ten kicks at once, and some days I just get 3-4 random pokes throughout the day.

i felt it earlier too, just slightly. I still get the same fluttery feelings even though now she is capable of knocking the wind out of me, haha. im 29 weeks and shes a wee little prizefighter now. it sometimes scares my boyfriend and our dog if they are near the belly she hits so hard... but i think those little flutters I still feel and felt then were more than likely her getting the hiccups. she gets them kinda often...
