Question Nursing top challenged

Ladies, I am nursing top challenged MIL got me some nursing tank tops that one unclips and exposes the boob, 2nd has an inner layer like a bra, but not all the way down and unsnaps and you have to go through a little hole to get to the boob. Do you ladies where a nursing bra under the tanks, there is just not enough support in these to go braless, then there is the whole nipple issues, even with pad. Two, either these are the wrong size or I just have a problem with trying to get through the hole??? We have a big weekend trip coming to Indy, it will be hot and I will be needing to nurse more discreetly then at home. Help!

You know, I never liked nursing tops. I just found it easier to pull up my shirt. I did wear nursing tanks in the hospital under my gown, but that was it. I didn't wear a bra under those.

I'd suggest buying a light cotton cover (Hooter Hiders style) and using that instead of fiddling with shirts that you're uncomfortable using! Have a great trip!

I wear the ones you can get at Target. They're just like a bra, except tank style. I have several ones from other places that just aren't functional.

I'm wearing a Target tank right now. When I'm out and about I just layer one under my regular shirt. When Corbin wants to nurse I just pull my regular shirt down, unlatch the tank, and presto! Instant nursing shirt! Also, the way it works makes descrete nursing a breeze, as it completely covers the breast with no need for hooter hiders, etc. I doubt most people even notice I'm nursing. Oh, and the Target tanks are only 16.99!!!
