Yes, the highest slots aren't very high (wether you call them slots or one slot) that is what I was saying. I do like that it has the harness where you dont have to uninstall to change it.

Though almost all seats are outgrown by height before weight.

The top one should have been higher, my

The Regent is the better choice right now. The Frontier is nice, but there are serious installation issues with it. The belt path is not compatible with many cars. LATCH is better, but you can only use the LATCH until the vehicle limit. For example, Honda states you can use the LATCH anchors until 40lbs and then you have to convert to installing with a seatbelt(not to be confused with switching to booster use, that is not what I mean). Ford has a 48lb limit. If the owners manual of the car does not state a limit, you must go with the manufacturer of the car seat.

It goes up to 80lbs too, instead of just 65 with the Boulevard. But the frontier goes up even higher to 100lbs and they can be taller too.. You know though, my almost 13 yo still isn't 100 lbs, she's just 84lbs and there's no way I could pay her to sit in a seat.. so maybe it will be ok.. So I ordered the sahara one.. anyone have a regent? Do you love it?

I have the exact one, had it for about 6 weeks and we LOVE it!!!

I just came across a really good deal to get a boulevard... should I cancel the regent and get the boulevard, or just stick with getting the regent??? He is 2 years old at 35inches tall, 28.4 lbs .... ooooh, what should I do?!?!

He is about the same size as my DD ... she has ages left in her Marathon!

Really I dont know! Maybe cancel the Regent and get the BLVD, then if he does keep growing fast you can get a regent/frontier/whatever in Sept or March during the huge sales and sell the BLVD!

I know when I put DD in my DSs Regent she was LOST in it! It was just HUGE-O compaired to her! (I have a pic I think) It is safe I mean but still better for him to RF!

He's a little bit bigger than your LO He's 2 1/2 40lbs and 39 inches tall. But we have a Husky (same thing as the Regent) in dh's car and used since ds was FF. Your LO will look so small in it but its really a great car seat...one that you can use for a long time. We bought a Graco something or other after ds outgrew his infant seat. It was $140 and lasted us just a little over a year...we should never have bought it and should have bought the Regent back then. I think you made the right choice!

Re: Oh I hope I don't regret this.. I ordered a regent

Honestly, I'd cancel wait until the september britax sales. Added clothing weight won't help protect your dc ffing. While he may be 30lbs clothed, he still only has 28lbs of body to protect him. Highly, highly unlikely he'll gain more than 4.5lbs in 4 months.

Is there somewhere instore you can try him in a regent in your car (Babies r us perhanps?) to see how it fits? Most 2 year olds swim in regents.

I don't think I'd get a boulevard unless he outgrows the scenera but still doesn't fit the regent. While you *could* pass it down, nobody knows when/if you'll have another and most likely it'll expire before #2 gets his full use out of it.

Re: Oh I hope I don't regret this.. I ordered a regent

Okay.. so I looked in the acct where I bought the regent and it showed it was still processing, I went ahead and bought a boulevard from another store in the brownstone color.. But now guess what? I went back to the regent sight to figure how to cancel it, and it now says it's processed and has been shipped! It has a tracking number and everything and it did NOT have it when I checked just less than an hour prior! Crap! Now I have 2 carseats ordered!
His scenera only goes to 40lbs FF, this is why I wanted the Boulevard since it goes to 65FF.. Once he hits his 33-35 mark, I can turn him.. should another baby come in the next couple years, I can get him the regent (maybe frontier if they get the kinks worked out by then) and give the new baby the Boulevard. If I don't have another baby.. well it will fit him til 65lbs anyways and that is a loooooong time..
Now, I have to figure out what to do on this regent order..
