All babies are going to fall and get a bruise at one point or another. Don't feel bad mamma. IT happens to us all. I have watched my DD fall so many times, I just couldn't get there fast enough. I don't think it looks that bad, it probably bruised fast becuase it is right on the cheek bone. I wouldn't worry too much. If that is the worst she ever gets then she is a lucky girl. I thought my DD was going to lose a tooth from the way she fell, but all is well.

I'm way used to owies too...and I have GIRLS

My kids are so accident prone. We always have bruises up and down our legs and on our faces here.

Nah! Don't worry! She looks fine to me, she's alert, drinking, so there is no reason to worry.

BUT POOR baby! And Poor you! I bet she really cried too!

looks ok to me, my daughter never really got bruses my son on the other hand lol sometimes has me scared to take him to the peds appointments lol I feel like saying we dont abuse him really

Sorry your bf is childish enough to assume that every kid will make it through life without getting hurt in some form or another. Hope he apologizes and you guys can talk about what words he needs to use to express an opinion or emotion in a much more tactful manner. It's bad enough we feel bad when our kids get hurt, ESPECIALLY if we were right there. I don't know about anyone else, but there have been times when I end up watching the event in slo-mo in my mind for the next few days until I can get over it.

Update, she's doing fine, the redness went away and left a smaller bruise and David bought dinner home last night so I didn't have to cook...woohoo I despise cooking, especially since our kitchen is being remodeled as well as half our house ugh...anyway, I just freaked out, I bet her pedi thinks I'm crazy, I call them at least once a week lol thanks for the replies mommas!
