I could have sworn that I read something about this recently but I don't know where. If anyone knows how you are supposed to measure for them, please enlighten me. I've never had much luck with pumping in the past and I think it is because I was using too small breast shields, so I want to figure out which size I need before baby comes. TIA!

I have NO IDEA, I just guessed. I have HUGE breasts/nips so I ordered the largest size I could find. MUCH better than the ones that come with the pump, IMO!

Thanks, I just recently realized that there were other sizes(duh). The only thing I found telling about this says you need to watch your nipple while pumping to see if it is too small, but I am pg so not currently pumping. Anyone else know if there is a way to measure for this?

When I first started pumping it was really uncomfortable, although my nipple wasn't rubbing or anything - I just guessed and got the next size up to see what would happen and it was much more comfortable. I had no idea and just guessed - sorry. I would say it would be worth it just to at least get the next size up to try when the baby comes.

Unfortunately, just trying them is what you need to do. Some size up a couple sizes, some size up differently between breasts. It really does help tremendously having the right size though.
