babywearing and nursing--just need to brag

dd is 6 weeks old tonight and today we went out with my mom. we were walking around all afternoon and I had dd in my moby wrap. she was getting fussy so I re-adjusted things and nursed her, hoping I was being discreet. I don't mind NIP but I also don't want to flash my boobs around. Anyway soon after that we left and when we got home my mom asked "isn't she hungry?" and I said "no, I just nursed her". My mom was confused and asked when and I said "while we were walking around". She was really surprised, she had thought dd was just sleeping! If she didn't even notice and she was right next to me the whole time, it must've worked!

Its the first time I've successfully nursed while babywearing with either of my dd's so I just needed to brag!

I so know what you mean! Whats funny is DS doesnt like being under the wrap so I've gotten used to just pulling my boob up and latching him on. I got more attention with him covered up than I ever have just latching him on top. No one ever knows what we're doing Its kind of funny to have people touch his head (family and friends) and then watch their reaction when they realize he's nursing

Yay! Good for you! Isn't it a great feeling when you pull that off and not even your mom knows?? I nurse my 10 week old in her Hotsling whenever I need to while we're out and about. I love that nobody can tell, it just looks like she's sleeping.

Congrats on this NIP milestone!

Yay! Isn't it great to not have to stop what you're doing to nurse? I love it. So much easier than finding a place to sit, having everyone wait on you, etc etc. Good job mama!

That is great!

My DD gets way to distracted to eat if I am walking so I have to sit and feed

I have a moby wrap which is basically just a really long piece of cloth (mine is stretchy cotton). I basically laid her sideways in it and wore her like a sling. Its hard to describe so I'll try to take a picture of it and post it.
