Midwife services in Portland
So we are thinking of starting TTC soon, and I've been researching midwife services in the area.
Except all I am finding are the ones who only do homebirths, and that's not gonna work for us... I know about Andaluz Center, but is there anything else???

Re: Midwife services in Portland
I had a great midwife in portland when we lived their she delivered us at a Legacy emanuel Hospital. (I found this on their site http://www.legacyhealth.org/body.cfm?id=295) I cant recall who I my midwife was that was 6 years ago so they might be long gone but it looks like they still have midwifes GL

Re: Midwife services in Portland
I have heard that the midwives at OHSU are good. Also the the Natural Childbirth & Family Clinic has midwives and a waterbirth tub.

Re: Midwife services in Portland
I think there is one in SE Ptld...I'll try to look around for the name of it for you. I met a mama who gave birth there, but I can't remember what it's called!
DS1 was born at Andaluz. ![]() Also, I know OHSU has CNM's who do waterbirths.

Re: Midwife services in Portland
FYI- andaluz is in the process of building a second birth center. It is located at 3323 SW Naito Parkway in portland if that would be more convenient for you.
