Waking every hour to nurse?
My baby who is 5 months old and exclusively breastfed is waking approx. every hour to nurse...he's been doing this for about a week now. It goes on most of the night. Has anyone else had this happen with their babies? He doesn't eat like this during the day, only at night. Thank you!

Re: Waking every hour to nurse?
My dd is probably attached all night. I know everytime I wake up she is. Your ds is probably going through a growth spurt or maybe is needing extra comfort.

Re: Waking every hour to nurse?
I really don't know how those who don't co-sleep do it. DH and I had originally talked about starting to wean E from our bed at 1 year, but since then I've found out I'm going to be able to BF longer than I expected so I've told him she stays in our bed until after she weans from BF. E's ped always makes such a point of asking how often she's waking during the night and worrying about my sleep. I've never mentioned that we co-sleep so I've just started giving vague answers when she asks.

Re: Waking every hour to nurse?
We went through that around the same time and it last for a month or two. It does get better though I promise

Re: Waking every hour to nurse?
My little guy is 6 months and he's an all-night nurser. We co-sleep, so I've just gotten used to being his self-serve snack bar! lol

It'll get better
Try to nap when he does during the day so you don't lose stuff ;-)
