Hot Flashes while PG??

Ok...I just found out that I am expecting #2 sometime in May. This is a surprise as my DD is 6 mo old!

Anyway...I am having these crazy hot flashes all the time. Day, night, whatever, and it's so weird. I didn't have them at all when I was PG with DD.

Anyone else experienced this or am I going goofy??

Happend to me too, both w/ ds1 & ds2! That's how I knew I was preg. w/ds2- constant hot flashes. It lasted the whole time I was preg. Good ol' hormones!!

Happened to me too, thought it would singe my hair sometimes . That and a freakishly good sense of smell were my two strongest symptoms.

Oh yeah!! You are not loosing it. I will be cold one minute and HOT the next!! I think it is the hormones!! I am very overheated when I am expecting!! Taking my socks off helps and I HAVE to have a fan on me all the time! lol

that was one of the first things that tipped me off to being pregnant. I am about 7ish weeks now and they have faded some, but they were really strong in the beginning. and I NEVER get hot, I am usually cold in 80 degree weather.

I would get crazy hot flashes when pg with DD. Though not right away. Right now, though, I'm freezing all the time. Anything is possible!

Oh yea! Last time and this time (12weeks). Also weird sense of smell. Made more bizarre because normally I can't smell a THING because of allergies. So far the headaches haven't been as bad/frequent as last time though. Dress in layers, might help.
