do you empty your pockets?

but i might have to try taking them out of the dipes before putting them in the pail. I think that my PUL is getting stink issues because of it.

Before I put my pockets in the diaper pail I take the inserts out. I don't wanna fuss with them after they have been sitting in the pail for a day or so

I empty them right away

A lot of people told me they don't empty them, so I tried leaving them in. After my cold rinse, 2 FB had the pocket balled up in the front of the dipe, and everything else (including my double-stuffed BG) was empty. So I now do this, and just briefly check before the first wash cycle.

I shake the insert into the pail then drop the dipe in too. If its a poop one I take it out before I dunk, swirl swish the dipe in the toilet.

I do a cold rinse, then check them (most are empty), then wash

I do it when I put it in the pail.

It way less skeevy to do it then than when a bunch of them have been sitting on top of each other for a day or two.

That and if by some miracle my husband does a wash of dipes (hasn't yet) at least he can just dump the bag into the machine and not really *touch* anything.

I empty them when I rinse (generally right after I change her). I do miss one or two here and there then I just pop them out when tossing into the wash.
